Free Design Consultation

Before you meet your designer, think about what you’d like your project to look like.  Are you planning to gut renovate your space, or simply update your current footprint with a fresh new look?  Consider what you’d like to invest in your renovation project, and come prepared with an idea of your budget.  If possible, having photos or general measurements of your existing space is beneficial in the initial discussion.

Visual aids are incredibly helpful for your designer to understand your aesthetic – farmhouse, transitional, Euro, traditional – we can make anything happen, but we need to know what you love!  Images pulled off Instagram or Pinterest, tear sheets from magazines, or a quick sketch on a napkin – all of these work!

Design Floorplan and Renderings

After you have your initial meeting and agree on a budget, your designer will visit your home to gather measurements, take photos, and discuss your needs in more detail.  They will then create drawings of your floorplan, recommended layout of your new kitchen or bathroom, and to-scale renderings of the space.  Your designer will present you with a curated selection of items to complete your remodel – your cabinet door styles, hardware options, tiles, and countertops will all coordinate perfectly to your desired final look.  You will approve everything along the way, with no hidden surprises. 

Scope of Work Contract and Agreement

Once you have made decisions with your designer, we will build a detailed contract to include the entire scope of work, as well as a timeframe target for your project.  We will review everything together with you and answer any questions you may have about the remodeling process.  When we are all in agreement on the project scope and estimate, the contract will be signed and deposit collected.  Following this meeting, your cabinetry and other items will be ordered, and an estimated project start date will be set.
